Tangy Sweet Meatballs(I Serve These Often On Holidays.) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    1 1/2 lb. ground pork
    3 c. soft bread crumbs
    3 eggs, slightly beaten
    3/4 c. finely chopped onion
    1 1/2 Tbsp. minced parsley
    1 Tbsp. salt or as desired
    3 Tbsp. melted margarine
    1 1/2 c. apricot preserves
    3/4 c. barbecue sauce
Preparation
    Combine first 7 ingredients, mixing well.
    Shape into 1-inch balls.
    Brown in margarine.
    Drain on paper towels.
    Place in 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
    Combine preserves and barbecue sauce; mix well.
    Pour evenly over meatballs.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes. Serve in chafing dish.
    Yield: 7 1/2 dozen.
