Cookie Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. Pillsbury sugar cookie dough mix (in dairy case)
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. Philadelphia cream cheese
    1 c. fresh strawberry slices
    1 c. fresh kiwi slices
    1 c. fresh blueberries
    1 c. sugar
    1/3 c. shortening
    1 egg
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda, dissolved in 4 Tbsp. warm water
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 c. peeled, diced apples
    1/4 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar.
    Mix in egg.
    Add flour, soda mixture, spices and salt.
    Mix in apples and nuts.
    Put in a greased, deep 8 or 9-inch pie pan.
    Bake in moderate oven at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 50 minutes.
    Cut in wedges to serve.
    Can be served warm or cold and with whipped cream or ice cream.
    Makes 6 to 8 servings.
