Stuffed Manicotti - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 uncooked manicotti shells
    15 oz. cottage cheese
    8 oz. shredded Mozzarella cheese
    1 egg plus 1 egg white
    1/4 c. plus 2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
    2 Tbsp. parsley (optional)
    3/4 tsp. oregano
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    3 c. spaghetti sauce
Preparation
    Cook manicotti.
    Drain and place in bowl of cold water; set aside.
    Set oven at 350\u00b0.
    In medium bowl, combine cottage cheese, 1 1/2 cups Mozzarella cheese, egg and egg white, 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, parsley, oregano, garlic powder, salt and pepper.
    Drain manicotti.
    Pat dry with a paper towel.
    Fill shells with the cheese spread.
    Put 1/2 cup spaghetti sauce over bottom of 3-quart baking dish.
    Arrange filled manicotti on sauce. Cover with remaining sauce.
    Sprinkle remaining cheeses.
    Cover dish loosely with foil.
    Bake 40 minutes until hot and bubbly.
