Cherry Macaroons - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    14 oz. pkg. flaked coconut
    1 1/4 c. chopped candied cherries (about 1/2 lb.)
    2 1/2 tsp. almond extract
    1 can sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated milk)
Preparation
    Mix almond extract into condensed milk.
    Then combine all ingredients.
    Drop by teaspoon onto cookie sheet, which is covered with parchment paper.
    A heavily greased cookie sheet can be used, but cookies still tend to stick.
