Apple Crisp(Makes 6 Servings) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. thinly sliced tart apples
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1/4 c. water
    1/2 c. flour
    1/2 c. rolled oats
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    dash of salt
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. walnuts
Preparation
    Toss apples with lemon juice and water in shallow bowl and put into 2-quart baking dish. In large bowl, combine flour, oats, sugar, nutmeg and salt. Mix thoroughly with blender. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Mix in walnuts. Crumble over apples to cover completely. Do not pack down. Bake in 350\u00b0 oven 40 to 45 minutes until top is lightly brown.
