Fruit Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. pineapple tidbits, drained
    1 c. fruit cocktail, drained
    1/4 c. vinegar
    1/4 c. sugar
    2 eggs, beaten
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 pt. whipping cream
    1 pkg. colored marshmallows
Preparation
    Mix vinegar, sugar and eggs in double boiler; cook until thick.
    Add butter and cool.
    Add the whipping cream to custard, then add marshmallows and fruit.
    Chill for 3 hours or overnight.
