Divinity - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. water
    vanilla flavor
    1/2 c. white Karo
    2 egg whites, beaten
Preparation
    Combine and cook until hardened ball forms in water. Gradually mix syrup into prepared egg whites.
    Add to and mix for awhile until mixture loses some of its gloss, then add pecans and blend with spoon until nearly hardened.
    Pour into buttered dish. When set, cut into squares.
