Quick Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. flour
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    1 yeast cake
    1 tsp. salt
    3 Tbsp. shortening
    1 1/2 c. warm water
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast and sugar in 1/2 cup water. Sift flour and salt together. Mix with 1 cup water, then add water with yeast and sugar. Add melted shortening or fat. Knead well; roll out and cut in shape. Put in greased pan. Let rise 3 to 4 hours and bake in hot oven at 400\u00b0 about 20 minutes.
