Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 unbaked (9-inch) pie shells
    6 eggs
    2 c. Karo light syrup
    2 c. sugar
    4 Tbsp. margarine, melted
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 c. pecan halves
Preparation
    Beat eggs slightly.
    Mix in next 5 ingredients with a large spoon.
    Stir in pecan halves.
    Pour into unbaked pie shell.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
    Reduce heat to 350\u00b0 and continue baking for 30 to 35 minutes.
    (Filling should be slightly less set in center than around edges.)
    Makes two 9-inch pies.
