Chicken Cordon Bleu - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 whole chicken breasts, split, boned and skinned
    8 (1 oz.) slices cooked ham
    8 (1 oz.) slices Swiss cheese
    3 Tbsp. fresh or dried parsley
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 egg, beaten
    1/2 c. bread crumbs
    1/4 c. butter or oleo
    1 can mushroom soup, undiluted
    1 (8 oz.) sour cream
    1/3 c. dry sherry
    1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, drained
Preparation
    Flatten each breast half to 1/4-inch thickness.
    Place one slice of ham and 1 slice cheese in center of each breast. Sprinkle parsley and pepper on each one.
    Roll up lengthwise and secure with toothpicks.
