Chicken And Dumplings - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 chicken
2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. shortening
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1 c. liquid from chicken
Preparation

Cook and debone chicken; set aside.
Mix flour, shortening, salt and pepper.
Then add liquid from chicken.
Mix well.
Form into balls.
Roll very thin on a well-floured board.
Cut into strips and then cut into squares and drop into boiling broth.
Cook 10 minutes or until tender.
