Susan'S Carrot Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. hamburger or ground chuck or ground turkey, brown and drain
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. each: chopped celery, green onion, onion and diced potato
    4 c. tomato juice
    2 cans cream of celery soup
    1 1/2 c. water
    2 1/2 c. grated carrots
    1/2 tsp. garlic
    1/8 tsp. marjoram
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Brown hamburger or ground chuck or ground turkey; drain. Cover and simmer meat, salt, celery, green onion, onion and potato on low until tender.
    In a large saucepan, put tomato juice, celery soup, water, carrots, garlic, marjoram, salt and pepper. Bring to boil, then add hamburger.
    Simmer together 30 minutes. Pour into bowls over grated cheese.
