Holiday Potato Dish(Scalloped) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 lb. unpared potatoes, cooked and drained
    1 c. chopped onion
    1/4 c. butter
    1 (10 oz.) can cream of celery soup
    1 pt. dairy sour cream or buttermilk
    1 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1/2 c. crushed Corn Flakes
    3 Tbsp. melted butter
    pimento strips
    chopped fresh parsley
Preparation
    Remove skins from potatoes; shred into bowl.
    Saute onion in 1/4 cup melted butter until tender.
    Remove from heat and stir in soup, cheese and sour cream.
    Add potatoes and toss until coated with soup/cream mixture.
    Drizzle with 3 tablespoons butter and bake in greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish in 350\u00b0 oven for one hour.
    Garnish with pimento and parsley.
