Quick Thick Clam Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. scalloped potatoes
    1 can (7 to 8 oz.) minced clams, drained (preserve liquor)
    1 Tbsp. shredded green onion
    1 Tbsp. freeze-dried green pepper
    2 1/2 c. milk
    1 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    In large saucepan, mix potato slices, sauce mix, amounts of water and milk called for on package, clam liquor, green onion and green pepper.
    Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally.
    Reduce heat; cover and simmer about 25 minutes or until potatoes are tender, stirring occasionally.
    Stir in clams, 2 1/2 cups milk and the butter; heat through.
    Makes 6 servings.
