Oven Roasted Sauced Spareribs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sides spareribs (2 1/2 to 3 1/2 lb.; Country Better)
    1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1 tsp. dry mustard
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    1 c. ketchup
    1/2 c. cider vinegar
    1/2 c. water
    3 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    2 Tbsp. grated onion
    1 clove garlic, crushed
Preparation
    Leave ribs whole or cut into serving pieces. Place in a large shallow pan. Roast at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes. Combine brown sugar, dry mustard and pepper in a saucepan; blend thoroughly. Stir in remaining ingredients; bring to boiling over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Pour 1/2 sauce over ribs and continue roasting for 30 minutes. Turn ribs and pour on remaining sauce. Roast 30 to 45 minutes longer or until meat is tender. Makes 4 to 5 servings.
