Reuben Burger - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. ground chuck
1 Tbsp. caraway seed
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1/2 tsp. lemon pepper marinade
6 slices bacon
1 small onion, chopped
1 (16 oz.) can sauerkraut, drained
6 slices Swiss cheese
12 slices rye bread
Preparation

Combine meat, seed, garlic salt and lemon pepper; mix well. Shape into 6 patties.
In a skillet, fry bacon until crisp; remove and crumble.
Saute onion in bacon fat until golden brown.
Add sauerkraut and mix thoroughly; keep warm.
Broil patties.
Place each patty on slice of rye bread; top with sauerkraut, crumbled bacon, slice of cheese and slice of bread.
