Caramel Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. margarine or butter, melted
    1 c. flour
    1 c. oatmeal
    3/4 c. brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    32 caramels
    5 Tbsp. milk
    1 c. milk chocolate chips
Preparation
    Mix the first 6 ingredients and pour into a greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Spread evenly in the pan with a spatula or by hand. Bake for 10 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Let cool.
    Melt caramels in the milk. Pour over crust and spread evenly.
    Sprinkle chips over top of caramel.
