Lemon Meringue Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    7 Tbsp. cornstarch
    dash of salt
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 1/2 c. water
    3 beaten egg yolks
    1 tsp. lemon peel
    1/2 c. lemon juice
Preparation
    Combine sugar, cornstarch and salt.
    Stir in water.
    Bring to boiling over medium heat, cook stirring constantly until thick, 3 to 5 minutes.
    Remove from heat and stir in beaten egg yolks.
    Cook 1 minute.
    Add lemon peel, butter and lemon juice.
    Stir until mixed.
    Pour in baked pie shell.
    Top with meringue.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until brown.
