Green Pepper Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 3/4 c. bell peppers, ground
    6 1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. cider vinegar
    1 pkg. Sure-Jell
    green food coloring
Preparation
    Well drain the peppers; add sugar and vinegar.
    Bring to a boil and then cool slowly for 5 minutes.
    Add Sure-Jell and a few drops of food coloring.
    Stir in completely.
    Pour in jars and add paraffin wax to seal.
    Can be stored in cupboard for a year.
    Serve on crackers with cream cheese as an appetizer.
