Cheddar Cheese Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    2 Tbsp. finely chopped onion
    1/4 c. finely chopped green pepper
    1/4 c. finely chopped carrot
    3 Tbsp. flour
    2 (10 3/4 oz.) cans condensed chicken broth
    2 c. (8 oz.) grated sharp Cheddar cheese
    1 c. evaporated milk
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Cook onion, pepper and carrots in margarine in a 3-quart saucepan for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Remove from heat; stir in flour and mix well.
    Cook 1 minute, stirring constantly. Add broth and bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
    Gradually stir in cheese.
    Cook over medium heat, stirring until cheese has melted.
    Add milk.
    Season and bring just to boiling, but do not boil.
