Mexican Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. cornmeal
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. milk
    2 eggs
    1 can cream-style corn
    1/4 c. cooking oil
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 small onion, diced
    spicy or mild Velveeta cheese, diced
Preparation
    Mix first 7 ingredients and set aside.
    Brown ground beef and onion.
    Add to cornmeal mix.
    Add 1/2 cheese into mixture.
    Use other 1/2 cheese to pour on top.
    Bake in 13 x 9-inch ungreased pan at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes, uncovered.
