Macaroni Fruit Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. DePete macaroni
    1 large can pineapple tidbits, drained, reserve 1 c. juice
    1 can Mandarin oranges, drained
    1 jar maraschino cherries, drained and cut in half
    2/3 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1/8 tsp. salt
    2 eggs
    1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip
Preparation
    Cook macaroni as directed on box.
    Rinse in cold water.
    Drain and cool in refrigerator.
    Add fruit to macaroni and chill.
    Cook together sugar, flour, salt, eggs and cup of reserved pineapple juice. Cook until thick.
    Cool. Pour over fruit and add Cool Whip. Mix well.
    When serving, garnish with maraschino cherry halves. You can make this ahead and freeze.
