Christmas Fruit Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. margarine
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. soda
    3 c. plain flour
    1 large (3 oz.) bottle sherry flavoring
    7 c. nuts (walnuts and pecans)
    6 slices candied pineapple (3 red and 3 green)
    1 lb. cherries (1/2 lb. red and 1/2 lb. green)
    1 lb. dates
    3 eggs, beaten
Preparation
    Mix fruit and nuts with part of flour to coat.
    Cream margarine, sugar and eggs.
    Add dry ingredients, then add flavoring.
    Mix batter with fruit and nuts.
    Chill overnight. Drop by teaspoon on greased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 20 or 30 minutes.
    Put pan of water in bottom of oven while cooking.
