Baked Spaghetti - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 (28 oz.) can broken tomatoes
    3/4 c. chopped green pepper
    1/2 c. water
    1 (4 oz.) can drained mushrooms, stems and pieces
    2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 tsp. chili powder or oregano
    1 (7 oz.) pkg. thin spaghetti
    1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese or processed American cheese
Preparation
    Cook and stir ground beef and onion in skillet until beef is brown.
    Drain off grease.
    Stir in tomatoes with liquid, green pepper, water, mushrooms, salt, sugar, chili powder or oregano and spaghetti (broken into 2-inch pieces).
    Turn into 2 1/2-quart casserole.
    Cover and bake at 375\u00b0, stirring occasionally until spaghetti is tender, about 45 minutes.
    Sprinkle with 1 cup shredded Cheddar or processed American cheese.
    Return to oven, uncovered, and bake until cheese is melted, about 5 minutes. Makes 6 servings.
