Shoney'S Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. boiling water
1 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. cornstarch, softened
1 tsp. cold water
2 Tbsp. strawberry jello
1 qt. or more washed berries
1 baked pie shell

Preparation

Boil 5 minutes.
Take from heat.
Add a few drops of red food coloring and 2 tablespoons of strawberry jello; pour over strawberries in a baked pie shell.
Chill for 1 hour and serve with whipped cream.
