Maxine'S Red Velvet Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    4 oz. red food coloring
    1 c. buttermilk
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. cocoa
    2 1/2 c. cake flour
    1 1/2 tsp. soda
    1 c. butter
    2 eggs
Preparation
    Cream
    the
    sugar
    and butter.\tAdd eggs and beat until fluffy. Make
    paste
    from
    cocoa and vinegar and add to butter mixture. Sift salt, soda and flour together and add to mixture and buttermilk.
    Add
    vanilla\tand coloring.
    Makes 3 layers. Grease and flour pans and add cake mixture. Bake at 350\u00b0.
