English Toffee - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. butter
    1 1/4 c. water
    1 2/3 c. sugar
    1 1/4 c. nuts, chopped coarsely
    4 tsp. corn syrup
    3/4 c. nuts, chopped finely
    24 regular size Hershey bars
Preparation
    In heavy pan, melt butter; add sugar, corn syrup and water. Cook on medium heat to 300\u00b0.
    Remove from heat; stir in 1 1/4 cups nuts.
    Spread in 15 x 10 x 1-inch pan.
    Lay chocolate bars on top.
    Sprinkle 3/4 cup nuts on top.
    Crack in pieces when cool.
