Caramel Ice Cream Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. oatmeal
    2 sticks oleo (soft)
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 to 1 c. pecans
    2 c. flour
    1/2 gal. ice cream, softened
    1 large jar caramel
Preparation
    Mix first 5 ingredients together with pastry blender.
    Spread out on large cookie sheet.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until brown (15 to 20 minutes).
    Cool.
    Crumble all of the baked mixture.
    Place 1/2 of mixture in bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Drizzle 1/2 of caramel; put remaining crumbs aside.
    Soften ice cream and spread on top of crumbled mixture layer.
    Sprinkle with remaining 1/2 jar of caramel.
    Cover with foil and freeze.
