Mom'S Homemade Applesauce - cooking recipe

Macintosh Apples
Sugar
Cinnamon
Preparation

Cut apples into quarters; remove core, seeds and stem, but leave the peelings on.
Put into a large pot with just enough water to keep from burning.
Cover and cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally until apples are soft.
Remove from heat.
Use food mill or large strainer to mash up the apples and separate the peelings.
Add sugar and cinnamon until it taste delicious and is a nice reddish-brown color.
