Caramel Walnut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 box yellow cake mix
    1 c. chopped walnuts
    1/3 c. butter or margarine
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 tsp. light corn syrup
Preparation
    Melt butter or oleo.
    Bring to boil with brown sugar and light corn syrup.
    Pour into ungreased 9-inch square cake pan.
    Arrange chopped walnuts over mixture.
    Top with cake batter made as directed on package.
    Bake 35 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Invert immediately, leaving pan over cake 1 minute.
    Especially good served warm.
    Top with whipped cream, cherry if desired.
