Feather Molasses Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 tsp. salt
1 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 heaping tsp. soda
1/2 c. molasses
1/2 c. melted shortening
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. boiling water

Preparation

Mix
dry
ingredients\t together.
Combine
molasses, shortening, eggs and vanilla
in
separate\tbowl and mix well. Add to dry ingredients and
mix well.
Pour boiling water over all and mix.
