Ingredients

1/2 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
onions, cut in rings
5 Tbsp. cold water
2 egg whites
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 Tbsp. oil
Preparation

Beat egg whites until stiff.
Sift dry ingredients together. Slowly add lemon juice.
Mix in water.
Then add oil.
Stir until smooth, fold in egg whites.
Dip onion rings in batter and fry until golden brown.
