Hamburger Corn Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. hamburger
1/4 lb. pork sausage
1/4 chopped onion
1 clove garlic, chopped
1 (16 oz.) can whole tomatoes
1 (16 oz.) can whole kernel corn, drained
20 to 24 ripe pitted olives
1 1/2 to 3 tsp. chili powder
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. cornmeal
1 c. milk
2 eggs, beaten
1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation

Cook and stir hamburger, sausage, onion and garlic until meat is brown; drain.
Stir in tomatoes with liquid, corn, olives, chili powder and salt.
Heat to boiling.
Pour in ungreased baking dish (9 x 9 x 2-inch) or 2 quart casserole. Mix cornmeal, milk and eggs.
Pour over meat mixture.
Sprinkle with cheese.
Cook in 350\u00b0 oven for 40 to 50 minutes.
Garnish with parsley sprigs and black olives if desired.
