Chocolate Cake(From 1925 Watkins Cookbook) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. cocoa
    1/2 c. white sugar
    1/2 c. milk
    1 egg yolk
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. butter
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. sour milk, into which 1 tsp. soda has been dissolved
Preparation
    Boil the first four ingredients and cool.
    Mix together with remaining ingredients and add 2 cups flour.
    Bake in moderate oven in layers.
    Ice with chocolate icing and nuts.
