Hot Water Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. white corn meal
    1/2 tsp. salt
    boiling water
    1/2 c. bacon drippings
Preparation
    Blend meal
    with
    salt
    in
    mixing
    bowl.
    Pour boiling water over mixture while stirring until it becomes consistency of dough. Form
    dough
    into patties and brown on each side in hot bacon drippings.
    Yield:
    6 small servings.
