Angel Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. yeast
3 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. soda
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. plus 2 Tbsp. buttermilk
Preparation

Dissolve yeast in 2 tablespoons warm water.
Sift dry ingredients and cut shortening into dry mixture.
Add buttermilk and yeast mixture.
Knead on floured board. Roll out and cut with biscuit cutter.
Place in greased pans and bake at 400\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
(Batter can be stored in refrigerator for several days until ready to use, if desired.)
