Ingredients

2 c. butter or oleo, softened
1 c. confectioners sugar
4 c. all-purpose flour
2 c. quick-cooking oats
2 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 tsp. almond extract
1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation

In a bowl, cream sugar and butter.
Add flour, oats, extracts and salt.
Mix well.
Roll out dough to 1/4-inch thickness.
Cut with a 3-inch heart-shaped cookie cutter.
Place on ungreased baking sheet.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
While cookies are warm, spread melted chocolate on top.
Cool.
