7-Up Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (3 oz.) pkg. lemon or lime gelatin
1 c. boiling water
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, broken in small pieces
1 (No. 2) can crushed pineapple, drained
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. nuts, chopped (optional)
1/2 c. maraschino cherries or pimento (optional)
1 c. 7-Up
1 c. celery, chopped (optional)
Preparation

Dissolve gelatin in boiling water; add cream cheese.
Beat with electric mixer at low speed until smooth.
Stir in pineapple, sugar, vanilla and nuts (if desired).
Add 7-Up.
Stir, when partially set, to keep nuts from coming to the top.
