To Freeze Melons - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 qt. water
    3 Tbsp. lemon juice
Preparation
    1.
    Combine sugar and water in a saucepan.
    Stir over heat until sugar is dissolved; let boil 5 minutes without stirring. Cover pan and cool.
    Add lemon juice for flavor and to prevent discoloration.
    Refrigerate, use as needed.
