Mom'S Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. milk
1/2 c. Crisco shortening
2 tsp. vanilla
3 c. sugar
2 sticks margarine
5 large eggs
3 c. all-purpose flour
pinch of salt
Preparation

Mix shortening and margarine together.
Add sugar and salt; beat until fluffy.
Add 1 egg at a time and beat well after each addition.
Add half of the flour and half of the milk, then, after thoroughly blending, add the other flour and milk, as well as the vanilla.
Beat thoroughly at a high speed.
Pour batter into a greased and floured pan; bake for approximately 2 hours at 325\u00b0.
