Gingersnaps - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1/4 c. syrup
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/4 tsp. ginger
    2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Mix together shortening, sugar and egg. Sift together remaining ingredients and beat well. Roll batter into balls about the size of pecans. Roll each ball in sugar and place on ungreased cookie sheets 2-inches apart. Bake 12 to 15 minutes at 350\u00b0.
