Spaghetti Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. spaghetti, broken into 2-inch pieces
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    1/3 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 egg, well beaten
    1 lb. ground chuck
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 green pepper, chopped
    1 (15 1/2 oz.) jar thick spaghetti sauce
    1 c. cottage cheese
    4 oz. shredded Mozzarella cheese
Preparation
    Cook spaghetti and drain.
    Place in 9 x 13-inch baking dish. Stir in margarine, Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper and beaten egg until thoroughly combined.
    Spread evenly.
    Brown ground chuck with onion and green pepper.
    Stir in spaghetti sauce.
    Spread cottage cheese over spaghetti layer.
    Top with meat mixture.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Sprinkle Mozzarella cheese over top and bake until cheese is melted, approximately 10 minutes.
    Let stand 10 to 15 minutes before cutting.
