Peanut Brittle(Microwave) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. raw peanuts
1 tsp. margarine
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. white corn syrup
1 tsp. baking soda
salt
Preparation

In a 1 1/2-quart casserole, stir together the peanuts, sugar, syrup and salt.
Cook 8 minutes at High, stirring well after 4 minutes.
Stir in margarine and vanilla.
Cook 2 more minutes on High.
Add baking soda and quickly stir until light and foamy. Immediately pour onto lightly greased baking sheet.
Spread out thin.
When cool, break into small pieces.
Makes 1 pound.
