Swiss Steak - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. round steak, cubed
1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 Tbsp. salad oil
1 (No. 2) can stewed tomatoes
1 large onion, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
1 (8 oz.) can mushrooms
Preparation

Cut steak into serving-size pieces.
Coat with flour, salt and pepper.
In large electric skillet, brown meat.
Place stewed tomatoes, chopped onion, chopped green pepper and mushrooms over steak.
Cover and cook on low for 4 to 6 hours (at 200\u00b0 to 225\u00b0). Makes 5 to 6 servings.
