Gingerbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1/2 c. sugar
    3/4 c. molasses
    2 eggs
    1 c. boiling water
    2 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. ginger
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. cloves
Preparation
    Mix shortening, sugar, molasses and eggs in a large bowl.
    Add flour, soda, salt, ginger, cloves and cinnamon.
    Mix well.
    Add boiling water; blend well.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until firm.
