Pineapple Refrigerator Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. vanilla wafers
    1/4 lb. butter
    1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
    2 eggs
    1 small can crushed pineapple
    1/2 pt. whipping cream
    1 1/2 c. finely chopped nuts
Preparation
    Roll vanilla wafers fine and put half in pie dish, pressing down firmly.
    Cream sugar and butter and add well beaten eggs. Pour in on crumbs, then pineapple that has been well drained.
    Add nuts to whipped cream, then put this over top of pineapple.
    Then, other half of crumbs on top and sides. Refrigerate 24 hours before serving.
