Breakfast Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. buttermilk
    1/2 c. honey
    1/4 c. molasses
    2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. whole wheat flour
    1/2 c. wheat germ
    1 c. white flour
    1/4 c. raisins (optional)
Preparation
    Mix together the buttermilk, honey, molasses, soda and salt. In another bowl, combine the whole wheat flour and white flour; add that blend to the buttermilk mixture.
    Stir in the raisins. Pour the batter into a 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
    Preheat your oven to 400\u00b0, turn it back to 350\u00b0 and slide in the pan.
    Bake the bread for 1 hour.
    Turn the loaf out, inverted, onto a rack to cool.
    Wait 1 day before slicing and toasting this breakfast bread.
    Makes 1 loaf.
