Butterscotch Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sifted flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. margarine
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 large egg, slightly beaten
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3/4 c. butterscotch bits
Preparation
    In large bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
    Blend in melted margarine, brown sugar, egg and vanilla. Combine all ingredients together and stir well.
    Spoon into 9 x 9 x 2-inch greased pan.
    Sprinkle with 3/4 cup butterscotch bits.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
