Broccoli Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. flour
1/4 c. chopped onion
vegetable cooking oil
3 c. finely chopped broccoli
3 large sheets phyllo dough
1/2 c. nonfat milk
8 oz. grated low-fat Cheddar cheese
6 egg whites, beaten
Preparation

Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
Coat a shallow 1 1/2-quart casserole dish with vegetable oil spray.
Stir flour into nonfat milk until it dissolves.
Spray frying pan with vegetable spray and saute onion.
Blend in cheese.
When cheese has melted, add broccoli. Pour into casserole dish.
Add egg whites and mix gently.
Cut sheets of phyllo dough in half.
Top casserole mixture, alternating one piece of dough with one spray of vegetable oil to make 6 layers.
Bake for 35 to 45 minutes.
Makes 9 servings.
