Fried Cheese Meltaways - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    vegetable oil
    1 c. Bisquick
    1/2 c. milk
    1 egg
    1 lb. Monterey Jack, Cheddar, American, Swiss or Mozzarella cheese, cut into 3/4-inch cubes
    Bisquick
Preparation
    Heat oil (2 inches deep) to 375\u00b0.
    Beat 1 cup Bisquick, milk and egg until smooth.
    Coat cheese cubes lightly with Bisquick. Insert a round toothpick in each cheese cube; dip into batter, covering cheese completely.
    Fry several cubes at a time, turning carefully, until golden brown, 1 to 2 minutes.
    Drain on paper towel.
